Octa Aspects and Planetary Rulers: Is There a Link? I spend an unhealthy amount of time placing different symbolic systems next to each other and asking why they seem to keep describing suspiciously similar things. Sometimes the answer is obvious. Humans have been wrestling with the same problems for thousands of years, so naturally our […]
Stop Roaming in a Mirror Kingdom I tried to heal myself by focusing on healing others. I gave people what I did not have yet secretly craved myself: validation, understanding, encouragement and acceptance. Somewhere deep inside me was this belief that if I became the person I once needed the most, eventually the world would […]
The Octa Star Wasn’t Supposed to Do This Aristotle, ancient elemental maps, and the geometry I did not plan to find Sometimes the most interesting part of building a system happens after you think the difficult part is already finished. You spend months defining concepts, deleting concepts, renaming things because the old name suddenly sounds […]
8 Hard Truths I Learned on My Healing Journey So you don’t have to. But of course, you will. When I am not crafting strange psychological and astrological mash-ups, connecting dots nobody asked me to connect, or staring at some ancient symbol wondering why it suspiciously resembles modern psychology, I am usually dealing with my […]
As Below, So Above: How Octa Element Framework Revealed a Hidden Pattern in the Zodiac Some patterns are designed, while others reveal themselves after everything falls into place. And probably one party that will spend more time arguing about strategy than actually defeating the boss. I occasionally like to explore something a little less serious. And today, I have a particularly important philosophical […]
Zodiac Miscasts and How Octa Gave Them a “New Home” We love pattern recognition and we love it even more when random people validate what we already sensed to be interesting. Ever notice how some zodiac signs just don’t agree with their locked-in element? Pisces people claiming they’re more airy than watery, Scorpios insisting they’re […]
Tracing the Hidden Eight: Humanity’s Forgotten Elemental Pattern Since the dawn of civilization, humans have tried to make sense of the world by breaking it into elemental pieces. Fire, Water, Air, and Earth—everyone knows these. Ancient Greeks wrote about them (Empedocles, 5th c. BCE; Aristotle, 4th c. BCE), alchemists chased them in Europe (16th–17th c.), and astrologers still do a […]
Zodiac Oppositions and Synergies Through the Octa Lens Pop astrology loves a clean, primary-color story. Fire is passionate.Water is emotional.Air is intellectual.Earth is grounded. Nice. Simple. Looks great on graphics and easy to sell compatibility charts. It also starts wobbling the moment you apply it to actual human characters. If the classic four-element model explained everything, […]
